By: WEBER WAY TO WELLNESS REPORTER

CENTRAL FLORIDA—FALL 2023 Alicia Weber brings in her 10th Anniversary of her Archery Fitness League this year as tremendous records are set and new opportunities are on the horizon. She held a Garden Warrior Obstacle Archery Contest at Acres of Grace Farm on October 6th where 20 youth competitors tried their best to go as fast they could go and shoot one arrow for accuracy. Kids as young as 4 and upto 15 took part in the challenge. Future events will be available at Acres of Grace Farm for Alicia’s archery and running and conditioning programs. Alicia has been working with ages 6 to 14 in running and conditioning. In the past 2 years, all of her students achieved increased speed and endurance in just 4 HOURS of training (1 hour a week for 4 weeks). Their improvement rate has been 2-16 percent in just 4 hours. Here is a preview of the NEW Exclusive Show with Aussie Amanda.

Alicia’s most “on the edge” or adrenaline pumping record of 2023 came on 10/27/23. She was going for 15 minutes of consecutive shoulder-width grip pushups and had to be over 484 reps to break the record. She was able to muster out 493 reps to re-set it as she stayed strong and on target the last minute to just make it over the record!

Alicia is here breaking the 15 minutes of consecutive shoulder-width grip pushups here on 10/27/23.

Alicia loves her improv character comedy and Halloween!! She made her most dramatic Halloween improv comedy show thus far! She collected comedy material in 3 different cities in Central Florida and more in Calabassas, CA. This production is an improv comedy with no scripts.

She ended up reaching 55 world records so far for this year!! The full details are in the video description above.

Alicia was really excited to “earn her turkey” by doing one of her hardest and most arduous challenges of 2023. She then ate her turkey after completing the challenge. She made a Thanksgiving/Post Thanksgiving Aerobic Strength Series. See the video playlist above with 3 videos. These are ALL NEW challenges. The longest one was on Thanksgiving Thursday and the other two took place on the Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving. They all involve Suicide Runs and Ring Chin-ups and/or Ring Dips.

Earth Day 2023 Strength Records, Wild Spectators, and Tips for a Healthy Environment!

By: Weber Way to Wellness Reporter

4/20/23 CENTRAL FLORIDA…Earth Day 2023 comes in with a pull up on a sixteen year old oak tree with some unique strength records, while attracting wild spectators! Alicia Weber who has set hundreds of pull-up world records, since 2009 “pulled out” a few more NEW pull-up records involving the commando aka cliffhanger pull-ups to celebrate Earth Month this April.

Question: How many wildlife spectators came out to watch Alicia set these Earth Day records?

Keep reading to find out…Plus get some tips for your garden!

Alicia wanted to set some new records that would require healthy, large, old trees – to inspire growing and keeping big trees! The first of two records involves maximum strength and in particular grip strength. She used a a tree branch with a minimum circumference of 10 inches. The first record is very tough because it involves slower pull-ups with full range of motion and the “mixed” commando style grip. Every rep starts in a dead hang full extension with strict form. Then, finishes on one side where the shoulder touches the tree branch (a pause) and then return to full extension (with another pause). Then, repeat on the other side and continue till failure. She did 16 reps of the Consecutive Shoulder-to-Shoulder dead stop Commando Pull-ups on the thick tree branch.

Consecutive Shoulder to Shoulder Dead Stop Commando Pull-ups on Thick Tree Branch

Alicia performed another record on the same tree branch (16 year old oak tree/10 inch circumference tree branch). This record is very challenging mixed commando pull-up grip L hang (hanging with legs straight and parallel to ground), but then she finishes with one leg raise. The timer ends when she returns to L position hang. She did 1:07 for this timed event.

Thick Tree Branch Mixed Grip Hanging leg L hold with Hanging Leg Raise Finisher

Finally, Alicia’s third and final Earth Day Record promotes outdoor fitness and going to an exercise trail. She gets in a great workout on the parallel bars. She uses the parallel bars and climbs 10ft by doing a side-to-side commando pull-up then moving her arms forward and repeating the pull-up. She completes the 10ft challenge in 25.6 seconds.

https://youtu.be/GU1UN185uYY
Moving side to side Commando pull-up 10ft Climb for time!

Alicia was happy to stretch her strength and creativity and do something special for Earth Month 2023. The wild animals were excited too – she had 5 total wild animal spectators that watched her do these feats! A cardinal sang a song, a wild Maine Coon (world’s largest cat breed) stopped by to pay a visit, and 3 Muscuvy Ducks walked over to Alicia after she completed her last feat (and ducks were NEVER chummy with her before!).

Below are a couple Tips to help your environment and gardens:

1.) Recycle your used egg shells by planting small plants in them (ex. Mother of Thousands). It helps give them nutrients. It also makes planting easy – just put the egg in a pot or in the ground. See Video here of Plants growing in egg shells.

2.) Save your coffee grounds and your egg shells to make a Natural Fertilizer. Grind your old egg shells and mix them with your leftover used coffee grounds. Then, sprinkle the Natural Fertilizer on your potted plants and outdoor gardens and watch your plants grow faster!

Thanks for Reading – Happy Earth Month

MOVING INTO MAY (Mother’s Day Weekend)…Alicia has set or broken 21 Recordsetter World Records so far this 2023! Alicia has now competed in 6 Sports in 15 World Championships (winning two of the world championships)! Below are more World Record videos for 2023.

Alicia talks about her 6 sports that she competed in for 15 World Championships as of Spring 2023!

On 4/4/23 Alicia broke a world record she has held. She did 45 plyometric bar dips in a row where her arms must extend and then go to at least 90 degrees adding a plyometric release into each rep.

Alicia broke 2 world records in one attempt! She did the 100 Side Center Side Plank Jumps in 1 min (setting the most in one Minute AND fastest time to do 100 reps)!
Finally, Alicia broke her 4th World Record for Mother’s Day Weekend with 57 Side-to-Side Plank Jumps in one minute. She has to keep her feet held close together and jump wide to side and level with her hands. She now has 21 World Records for 2023 so far!

She placed 2nd woman (5th overall) in a new best time. This is her third year to do race and third year to place 2nd woman overall. The following day on 2/5/23, Alicia did her first-ever feet against wall consecutive push-up challenge with 38 reps (two reps over the record set by a male). This would be her 8th world record.

Alicia was excited to participate in The March 8th Worldwide International Women’s Day Challenge completing the same time as last year in the 5k indoor row race with 21:38 (currently ranked 53rd lightweight woman in world among verified results). Then, 10 minutes later – she competed in her first-ever 10k BikeErg race in a time of 23:13 and being ranked 63rd woman in world among verified results.

Two days later (3/10/23), Alicia switched to speed events and competed in the 1k indoor rowing sprint world championship placing 30th lightweight woman in the world. This is her 15th World Championship.

After 4 weeks of middle school distance running and sprint training – the middle school runners were able to compete in an unique and possibly world’s first-ever Cross Country Versatility Contest. The training and racing were created by Coach Alicia Weber. The coach also competed in the events and she did 12.6 seconds for the cross country 100 meter and approx 10 minutes later 5:32 for the cross country mile event. The “Versatility Contest” combines the 100 meter and mile events held back- to -back on soft cross country surface where athletes try to run their fastest times in both events. They are then scored by their finishing place. The lowest placing score wins “MOST VERSATILE”…Complete Results are at this link. The “Most Versatile” runner won both the 100 meter in 12.9 seconds and 1 mile in 6:47 – 13 year old Etienne!! The great news is that ALL runners ran personal bests in the 100 meter and the mile events. Some improved their mile times by 2 minutes!! It was a “runderful” and fun event for everyone!

FINALLY, we will talk about Florida wildlife. Alicia and her family have spring birthdays and they have a ritual of finding their birthday animals! They enjoy hiking and visiting animals either in the wild OR in zoos. They had 4 amazing experiences this spring.

https://youtu.be/U-Iw2Xs8rxk
Alicia’s mother’s birthday animal came in numbers – 3 ALLIGATORS!! She had a snappy birthday in Mt. Dora, Florida. She thought she was going to take a relaxing stroll and visit shops and eateries in Mt. Dora, but she ended up having a birthday of a lifetime with 3 alligators that joined in the celebration!!
https://youtu.be/MHNk6IKxouo
Alicia’s father was specifically on a mission to find a gopher tortoise for his birthday. Alicia steered him to Showcase of Citrus in Clermont, Florida, and there he found a gopher tortoise (and A LOT more animals at the new and improved Showcase of Citrus).
https://youtu.be/FoIqcK0jgtw
Alicia was searching for several birthday animals. She was definitely wanting to see a Florida Manatee, which has no known enemies! She got really lucky on St. Patty’s Day and found 25 birthday manatees at the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge! This is the place to see A LOT of manatees and it is only by foot. She also got to see her first mating manatee herd!
https://youtu.be/o0tX8PLr0Eo
The search for “birthday animals” continued at Disney Animal Kingdom. This is the first time Alicia has been to Disney Animal Kingdom, since 2009. There are now a lot more animals and there is Asia and Africa that she could visit there! The family had a blast taking in hundreds of animals on their walk through Disney. Highlights are in video above. Alicia is known to cause monkeys to moon her. This seems to happen at all the zoos with monkeys and once again it happened at Animal Kingdom!

Alicia Weber’s Christmas Knee Socks for Holiday Fun and Record Breaking!

BY WEBER WAY TO WELLNESS REPORTER

Alicia is happy to find stylish and comfortable knee socks for dancing, record breaking, and athletic wear!

Alicia performs a holiday dance in her new Christmas Knee Socks!

On December 19, 2022, Alicia aka World Record Weber, attempted to set her 6th Holiday record in a new style! She wanted to wear knee high socks and believed they would be lucky and help her break a speed record that she attempted to re-set a few times and failed. She picked out her favorite new Christmas socks – red is her favorite color. She picked out her new tie dye red Christmas knee sock to re-set the intense one minute Hands Flat Triangle Star Squat record, which requires certain form to be maintained. If anyone knows Alicia, then you know she enjoys smashing records – not just breaking them slightly. Her Christmas wish came true – she SMASHED the record in her new knee high Christmas socks —-taking the long-standing record from 68 reps to 82 reps in one minute!!

https://youtu.be/jTMoLBvg3as

Watch Alicia break the one minute speed record in the video above in her tie dye knee high Christmas socks.

Weber Way to Wellness Reporter: What made you think of changing up your style to set a record and how did you think of a knee sock?

Alicia: First, I was thinking about unique Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers that most people may not think about. I usually give gift cards as gifts and I wanted to change things up this year. I then thought of a knee sock particularly Chrissy’s Knee Socks because she has a wide variety of comfortable, colorful, fashionable, sporty knee socks (for men and women) for many occasions especially Christmas. Second, I realized that I should change up my style and set a holiday record in a knee sock. I know some fans commented on my socks before and I felt a colorful knee sock would be a wonderful fashion statement.

Weber Way to Wellness Reporter: How did you pick out the Chrissy Knee High Socks and did you do anything special in the other 5 holiday records you set?

Alicia: I picked out Chrissy’s Knee High Socks because I felt they would not be too tight. They are made with cotton, nylon, and spandex. I am very happy with Chrissy’s form fitting knee high socks . I can also push them down and wear to my ankles. As far as my other holiday records go, I do wear some of my favorite outfits. I love my red lululemon running shorts and black tights. I also love my green/black speedo bikini top. I wanted to wear red and green in a sporty, snazzy way for these holiday records. I will share my 5 other holiday records below.

World Record Woman brings in 42 years with 13th world championship, 4 world records, race victory, and more!

By: Weber Way to Wellness Reporter

It has been a very busy March 2022 for Alicia Weber – World’s Most Prolific Female Record Holder and strength and endurance athlete. She turned 42 in style…released new strength and flexing show, saw her “Birthday Ghost” in Mt. Dora, FL, attempted to feed cows for the first time, visited the Howey Mansion, won a cross country race, competed in her 13th world championship, re-set 4 pull-up world records, and re-set 2 challenge records (and more).

copyright © Alicia Weber bringing in 42 years in 2022!

She is happy to kick back and reflect on her March achievements and prepare for the future. She had been training for several months to do her first 5k indoor row race. She competed in the Women’s International Day 5k row event and exceeded her goals with a time of 21:38.4 (ranking her 55th lightweight woman in the world) on March 8.

The following day on March 9th she competed in her 13th World Championship – the 1k Sprint Indoor Rowing World Championship. She was very happy to place 35th in World for lightweight women even though she was 10.8 seconds off her best time. She had not done any of her usual sprint interval training to build up for the event, since she had been focusing on distance training.

2022 Indoor Rowing World Sprints Championship

She re-set a series of aerobic pulling exercise records mixed in between her races. On March 6th, she improved a pull-up by 5 reps for consecutive pull-ups with 15 steps per rep (15). On March 10, she broke the youtube hanging 100 leg lift challenge record (re-setting it with 2:20). On March 11, she improved the moving monkey bar consecutive pull-ups by 2 reps (now with 38). On March 14, she improved the consecutive chin-up with 15 steps per chin-up to 14 reps. On March 19, she improved the consecutive hammer grip pull-up with 15 steps per rep to 15 reps. The aerobic pull-ups are more challenging than a regular pull-up due to the increased heart rate. Her heart rate was 120-130 bpm or about 30 beats per minute faster than doing regular pull-ups. Plus, there are more muscle groups utilized in the aerobic pull-ups.

copyright  © Alicia’s March 5 Cross Country Race Victory!

On March 5, she competed in a clay trail race at Showcase of Citrus in Clermont, Fl. It was a competitive field of seasoned cross country runners. She won the women’s race with a 5 second lead on 2nd place and 6 second lead on 3rd place. It was a nail biting finish that she has not had since 1996 at the Junior Olympic National Championship 1500 meter final. Weber won bronze in 1996, but 1-2-3 places were within a couple seconds at the finish line. The finish in this cross country race reminded her of the 1996 Championship 1500 meter race.

On March 22, Weber shaved more than 40 seconds off this 400 rep challenge! It consists of the following: 10 x (10 half burpees + 10 pushups) + 10 x (10 squat thrusts + 10 pushups)

On March 19, Weber completed a 5k cross country run for the USA Not Parkrun Series. It was a fairly flat course with flat, low cut grass. She completed it in 18:40 (her 2nd fastest time ever and season best).

copyright © Alicia Weber

On March 24, Weber did a personal assessment (not a race) for her vo2max in a 1.5 mile run test. She completed it on a flat, grass course. Her time was 8:23. She came through the mile in 5:52. Her score was off the charts for females and males in her age group with 61 ml/kg/min for aerobic capacity wellness and lung capacity result.

11 Year Blog Growth with Alicia Weber

WEBER WAY TO WELLNESS REPORTER 9/13/21—AliciaWeber.com Blog is now 11 years old! Take an inside look at the personal growth and trends of the “Weber Way to Wellness” blog in 2021.

Just as Alicia has grown out of her favorite blouse from her muscular development over the past 11 years, so has her blog (AliciaWeber.com) seen exponential growth.

EARLY BEGINNINGS OF AliciaWeber.com

When Alicia began her blog in 2010, she focused on areas of wellness that she felt needed the most attention – the core! Eighty percent of Americans have back problems. She focused on teaching that muscular weakness is the cause of their back aches and pains. She published detailed articles with specific muscles revealed in various core exercises and how these muscles prevent pain and get the body strong. Most of her clients would learn a couple back exercises and stretches from her and all their pain would be gone in 2 weeks (plus they would get off meds). She had a blog following with senior citizens. The “Back” articles were always in the Top 3 Most Popular articles on her site.

THEN THINGS CHANGED…

When Alicia started setting physical fitness records at Recordsetter and was first recognized as the World’s Most Prolific Female Record Setter in 2012 – her record breaking feats out-performed her back articles. Her record breaking took center stage on her blog. Then, in 2013 when she recognized her youth archery fitness exploits – her following grew to all age groups! Kids were wanting to excel in her archery programs, so that they could get featured on her website.

NEW TRENDS FOR 2021

The blog evolved where long paragraphs of detailed info and pictures were popular at first, but in 2021 her audience is more visual. Her audience likes to have many pictures and many videos within a blog entry and shorter paragraphs (less writing). Fans enjoy better quality videos and now prefer videos from rumble.com because of the picture quality rather than other video sites. The blog readers would like a lot of excitement within the blog entry to keep their attention and cause them to re-visit. The blog updates are now less frequent due to the deluge of information posted in one single blog entry (with the multitude of videos and pictures per blog entry).

EXCITING FANS OVER THE YEARS

Alicia loves receiving fan mail. She also learns a lot from her fans. For example, one fan told her to put on a cape and her videos would get even more views – WOW – it worked! She wore a cape in a long video and the video went viral! In a short period of time, she got 5,000 views on it. Fans also provide ideas for future videos. One fan has given Alicia many ideas for new tough records to break and she has made those records a reality!

MOST COMMON QUESTION ALICIA RECEIVES

Over the years, most fans of Alicia’s videos and blog want to know if she is naturally strong, had to work to get strong, and when did she realize she was strong. As far back as a toddler, Alicia greatly desired to be strong, lean, and fast. She would walk up a 1,000 meter hill as soon as she learned to walk and she did calisthenics. As far as her strength is concerned, she felt she would be a world record holder one day by the time she was in first grade. She was always very athletic and energetic and dreaming about records. As a youngster, one of her favorite hobbies was climbing trees. In a 3rd grade class, Alicia climbed a 20 foot rope up and down 5 times in a row , while no one else could climb up to the top of the rope even one time. She remembered the awe-shocking look on faces. In shock a teacher dropped her pencil and flopped down a grade book. It was in this moment that Alicia knew she had tremendous strength and many great things were ahead.

On March 8th, Alicia completed her 25th Parkrun 5K (US virtual Series) where she set her personal best for the 5k cross country run in time of 18:33 on a well-groomed, rolling Groveland, FL course. She felt her new (New Balance 940 v4) helped her PR because she has run the course before in her old running shoes and suddenly saw huge improvement in the new shoe! Her former best time in the 5k cross country goes way back to 2000 as a UF gator where she led her team and ran 18:42 at the Disney Cross Country Race. She went right from a running PR to Strength PR.

Strength Records go in the books…As Alicia brought in 41 years, she set a new bar cross isometric hold world record! She made several attempts in 2020, but failed. Now, on March 9th she improved by 11 seconds!!

Alicia obliterated 10 world records in January 2021 to bring in a phenomenal New Year! These records have stood for 4 years (she held them at Recordsetter). She improved all 10 records by an average 0f 25% improvement on her strength and speed from 4 years ago! The records are short duration and they focus on aerobic strength and working multiple muscle groups simultaneously.

Alicia began her New Year breaking 3 very challenging Push-Up World Records (see below).

https://youtu.be/OzHotbzxWRQ
181 push-ups in a row in 3 minutes, fastest 100 consecutive alternating forearm to tricep ext push-ups (6:13), 37 jump tuck push-ups in a minute…

Her greatest improvement was on 1/6/21 when she had over 55% increased speed in completing the 100 V-Plank Jumps taking the 6:42 record time to 3:01!

Her next biggest improvement came on 1/8/21 taking the 2:47 record time to 1:26 (48% improvement) in the 100 consecutive side-center-side plank jumps testing mind and body.

This is a mind and body exercise as the 6-count pattern needs to be maintained along with proper form.

On 1/24/21 Alicia took down a tough aerobic exercise record that challenges coordination, abs, and wrist strength with the 100 rep exercise then on 1/25/21, she took down the record for the 200 rep exercise.

100 Side-to-Side Plank Jumps 1/24/21 in 2:55
200 reps of side-to-side plank jumps 1/25/21 in 7:24

On 1/28/21 Alicia improved her time on the 2 minutes Hands Flat Triangle Plank Jump by 30 percent enroute to re-setting the one minute record.

Alicia first completes a “Workout for a Bicep Pump” as shown here BEFORE performing her Up Close Bicep Flex Show.

Now, for the Countdown of Records for Christmas and New Challenges leading upto Christmas 2020! After many unsuccessful attempts, Alicia finally broke two very tough consecutive speed records, which stood for 4 years!!

Alicia raised the bar to 95 reps on 12/3/20 to set a New World Record at Recordsetter in the Flexed Hang Hammer Grip Bent Knee to Elbow Reps record.

Then, on 12/8/20 Alicia broke another similar record that is even harder – Now 82 is New World Record at Recordsetter for the Palm Away Grip Flexed Hang Bent Knee to Elbow for Reps Record.

On December 6th Alicia finally broke the consecutive archer dip world record for the 7th time with 29 reps!! Only minutes later, she executed (for the first time) a NEW challenge category known as 50 consecutive “two-hands-on-the-bar” monkey bar walk for fastest time…she went one minute.

New World Record – 29 Archer Dips in a row!!

Then, Alicia took a week to focus on training. Then she resumed her final 3 NEW Challenges for the Countdown to Christmas 2020 on the afternoon of December 19, 2020. She made her first attempt to complete 100 consecutive “two-hands-on-the-bar” monkey bar walk. She did fall short of her goal, but still did her best ever with 69 shown below. Next, she completed for the VERY FIRST TIME the challenge to jump 26 inches high for fifty consecutive jumps for fastest time – her time was 3:39. Alicia is only 62 inches, so she was jumping almost half her height. She took a rest day on 12/18/20 to prepare the fast twitch fibers in her legs to do this event! Last but not least, she saved what she considers her “easiest” event for last. It is a new speed challenge for the 20 ft “two-hands-on-the-bar” Monkey Bar L-sit Climb for fastest time…she went 19 seconds with strict form.

NEW CHALLENGE -Weber completes 69 consecutive flexed hang two hands on bar walk in 1:33.
NEW CHALLENGE – 62 inch woman completes fifty 26 inch high jumps in 3:39.
NEW CHALLENGE – strict L-Sit 20ft “two-hands-on-the-bar” flexed hang climb in 19 seconds!
