<p><div><strong>Foreword: </strong> <em>Alicia Weber is a Fitness Trainer and Wellness Coach of over 14 years that gets results as she guided the following 3 athletes to world records and has a <a href="http://www.recordsetter.com/user/AliciaWeberFitnessTrainees">physical fitness record setting organization here for her fitness trainees.</a> <a href="http://www.recordsetter.com/user/AliciaWeber">Alicia&#8217;s RecordSetter physical fitness world records are here.</a></em></div>
<p><div><strong>CLERMONT, FL&#8212;</strong> <a href="http://www.aliciaweber.com/2012/04/14/100-physical-fitness-world-records/">Alicia Weber already achieved 100 world records in physical fitness</a>, but keeps going.  I ask her what her motivation is and she replied, &#8220;I have over 600+ muscles in my body and I need to keep them ALL in top working order!  I always have looked at the total picture in physical fitness.  I keep improving and I have A LOT more goals.&#8221;</div>
<p><div>One goal Alicia had set was to hold the first ever <a href="http://www.worldrecordday.com/clermot-florida-recordsetter-physical-fitness-world-record-day/#more-308">Physical Fitness World Record Day in Clermont, FL,</a> and <a href="http://www.worldrecordday.com/find-an-event/">her event was one of just 21 events held in the world to celebrate RecordSetter World Record Day! </a>Alicia was very pleased with her event, which garnered<strong> 7 world records and 6 Most Popular World Records that made frontpage on recordsetter.com ALL on same day May 1, 2012</strong></div>

<p><strong>All Clermont Athletes Made Frontpage of Recordsetter.com as they earned votes and views to become Most Popular World Records!  Hammer Head&#8217;s Neck Strength World Records took 4th and 13th place, 81 yr old Cherie took 5th place, Roxann&#8217;s running records took 11th and 16th places, and Alicia took 1st place!</strong>
<div>Alicia kicked off her event at the National Training Center Track where she completed the <a href="http://recordsetter.com/world-record/complete-alternative-400-meter-dash-track/15119">Alternative 400m Dash a.k.a 400m Medley</a> where she shaved 11 seconds off her previous best time to garner the first world record of this eventful day on April 28, 2012.</div>

<p><div>Next, Roxann Steinke, 71, put her best foot forward on the track and took home 2 world records for over age 70 track running events within 15 months after a total hip replacement.  Roxann said, &#8220;I&#8217;m happy that I ran my <a href="http://recordsetter.com/world-record/3200-meter-track-run-female-over-70-years-old-within-15-months-after-total-hip-replacement-surgery/15131">fastest 3,200m ever</a> and I faired well in the <a href="http://recordsetter.com/world-record/5000-meter-track-run-female-over-70-years-old-within-15-months-after-total-hip-replacement-surgery/15146">5k</a>, which was run in the heat of the day.  I don&#8217;t compete on the track, so this is a new experience.&#8221;  Roxann keeps improving her running times.  <a href="http://www.aliciaweber.com/2012/04/05/champion-senior-athletes-excel-under-top-orlando-coach/">Within the first 70 days of 2012, she reduced her 5k time by 3 minutes.</a> Since, then (63 days later) Roxann has reduced her time another 2 minutes and 18 seconds.  Her best time (as of April 2012) has been <a href="http://chiptimes.com/images/files/static/582Female.htm">56:37 for a 5k road race. </a> <strong><em>Roxann proves you can get faster as you get older even with a full hip replacement!!</em></strong></div>

<div>Cherie Oney, 81, has been her best ever at her oldest age yet!  <a href="http://www.aliciaweber.com/2012/04/05/champion-senior-athletes-excel-under-top-orlando-coach/">Cherie&#8217;s years of experience have been in competitive dog shows and her Golden Years are proving to be her best years. </a> Cherie and her youngest saluki Angel have earned their AKC Championship and are half way to earning the Grand Championships as they compete on the National level and collect points for top performances that are evaluated based on gracefulness in the run, physical features, etc.</div>
<p><div>Cherie has been specifically wanting to build her leg endurance, but if you work with Alicia you need to work on everything!!  Alicia picked the exercise of <a href="http://recordsetter.com/world-record/consecutive-cone-pick-ups-while-holding-isometric-lunge-female-over-80-years-old/15115">Most Consecutive Cone Pick Ups, While Holding an Isometric Lunge</a> as it is performed on a grass surface and involves a wide-range of disciplines including leg endurance, core strength, flexibility, quadricep and hip flexor muscle groups, AND BALANCE!!  <strong>Who said people as they get older lose balance??  Cherie&#8217;s balance keeps improving and she is more &#8220;balanced&#8221; in her Golden Years than ever!</strong></div>

<p><div>Balancing careers as a competitive athlete in contact sports, marine, and a cop in some of the toughest crime areas has sent this over age 50 guy known as &#8220;Hammer Head&#8221; into secret hiding to develop his neck muscles to become the strongest to hold up in contact sports and confrontation!  Alicia was surprised when &#8220;Hammer Head&#8221; revealed he had been hiding away for 35 years building his neck and wished to set a world record in neck strength.  Alicia thought the purpose of his mission for the big, strong neck was so that it would be too big to strangle!  Alicia learned otherwise!</div>
<p><div>The &#8220;Hammer Head&#8221; said, &#8220;Having a strong neck helps in contact sports and I have been training it for 35 years to prevent injuries and help with preventing concussions and other neck issues that arise from police work.&#8221;  Hammer Head&#8217;s secret neck exercises are called <a href="http://recordsetter.com/world-record/consecutive-front-head-presses-120-pounds-male-over-50-years-old/15125">&#8220;Front Head Presses&#8221;</a> and <a href="http://recordsetter.com/world-record/consecutive-back-head-presses-150-pounds-male-over-50-years-old/15137">&#8220;Back of Head Presses&#8221;</a> and he shows they work as he also set 2 world records in both events (one after the other on RecordSetter World Record Day)!</div>

<p><div>Closing out the eventful first ever Physical Fitness Day, Alicia picked an one-of-a-kind exercise that stands out as the world&#8217;s toughest type of dip -- <a href="http://recordsetter.com/world-record/consecutive-ring-l-position-dips-minute/15142">Ring L Position Dips.</a> Alicia said, &#8220;What makes this exercise so tough is the element of flexibility and strength as the legs have to be held straight out together and kept parallel to ground entire time.  I first set this world record in 2010 with another record book, and I am ecstatic to improve and re-set this record and open the category now at <a href="http://www.recordsetter.com/user/aliciaweber">RecordSetter</a>!&#8221;</div>

<p>After my pregnancies, I used a weight loss method that was very successful for me.  Now, to my surprise, I see that it is a method more commonly used than I would have expected!<br />
     Upon awakening, I would have coffee with fat free cream.  Then, I would &#8220;jump&#8221; on my rebounder, also known as a mini-trampoline.  I would listen to music and usually jump for 15 to 20 minutes.</p>
<p>Here are the important points for this weight loss method:</p>
<p>1. Your body was in a &#8220;fast&#8221; during sleep.  Now you are burning the food from the previous night.</p>
<p>2. You are speeding up your food metabolism which will continue into the day.</p>
<p>3. You are burning fat NOT carbohydrates.  If you ate breakfast and then jumped or exercised aerobically, you would burn the carbohydrates from the breakfast.  But since you are still in the fasting state, your body burns the fat.  This fat-burning state is called ketosis.</p>
<p>4. Jumping on a rebounder strengthens the ankles, improves the lymphatic system, helps bone density, and improves your balance.  However, <a href="http://www.aliciaweber.com/2012/02/21/alicia-weber-aerobic-capacity-wellness-world-record/">any aerobic activity works just as well for the weight loss.</a></p>

I would not eat until lunch time, and I would have balanced meals with low fat and low sugar.  <a href="http://www.aliciaweber.com/2010/10/12/12-tips-for-better-eating/">I would eat sensibly.</a>  <em>I lost 30 pounds using this method.</em></p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t want to use a rebounder, you can do another aerobic exercise.  An important point to remember is that exercising in the fasting state really increases fat-burning.  <strong>CAUTION:  Do not use this method if you are diabetic.</strong></p>

If you want to jump, start with 5 minutes a day, 5 days a week, for 1 to 2 weeks.  Then, after 2 weeks, increase to 10 minutes a day, 5 days a week for 1 to 2 weeks.  Use this conditioning method, gradually increasing the exercising time.  These days I jump for 30 minutes at a time, 3 to 5 days a week.  Otherwise, I go to the gym and use an aerobic machine there.  Whatever I do, I use the &#8220;fasting&#8221; until lunch.  Of course, drinking water is vital during the exercise session.</p>

<p><strong>April 12 -22, 2012 &#8212; Strongwoman Alicia Weber</strong> is back again to raise her benchmarks in 2 short duration events AND MORE!  On April 12, 2012, Alicia Weber took back her <a href="http://recordsetter.com/world-record/sit-ups-minute/14805">world record in 1 minute of situps</a>.  She now raised the benchmark to 59 situps in one minute for her 101st world record! Alicia exclaimed, &#8220;I am into longer duration situps, but if I know I can beat a record that I see, I will go for it!&#8221;  Alicia did just that when she beat the previous record of 58 a minute set by England&#8217;s Guy King.  </p>

<p>Next, Alicia has been dueling French Plyometic Exercise Star Guillaume Bourgeois (since, Feb 2012) in several plyometric exercises, but one stands out in the exciting duel between these two determined record breakers -- <a href="http://recordsetter.com/world-record/consecutive-clapping-push-ups-with-feet-off-the-ground/14889">Most Consecutive Clapping Pushups with Feet off the Ground.</a>  They each had gone back and forth with this highly aerobic strength testing exercise.  Guillaume held the world record for 49 days at the mark of 61.  Then, on April 17, 2012, Alicia re-claimed the record with a new mark of 65.  Alicia exclaimed, &#8220;I got sick on Monday and had to rest.  My muscles were anxious for an all out effort on Tuesday and the result -- another record!  I am very happy!&#8221;</p>

<p>On Wedsnesday, Alicia had planned to kick off her cross country season despite still being sick.  Alicia exclaimed, &#8220;It was set in my mind and I had been looking forward to this day.  I recalled when I ran with bronchitis and set a youth record in a <a href="http://www.runhigh.com/1995%20Results/R092495B.html">10k  in 37:34 in 1995, which was 6th largest road race in US</a> and I knew I could pull this off.  I had trouble breathing from congestion and a sore/dry throat, but this was nothing compared to when I ran with bronchitis.  I was planning on a casual effort in any case and just get a feel for the new course.&#8221;  Alicia set the overall record in 2011 for the NTC 2.8 mile course.  In 2012, the race is on a new course measuring 2.5 miles and is known as the NTC Ultimate Series for Cross Country.  Alicia was happy with her showing in the elite field of current and former pro triathletes.  She finished 6th overall out of men and women and was the 2nd woman finisher.</p>

Finally ending her sickness on April 22, Alicia competed in her first ever WPA Series Stand Up Paddle Board event.  Alicia exclaimed, &#8220;I was so excited to get out there with top competition and just get this experience under my belt.  I asked for a challenge and I got it -- the 3 mile race started in torrential downpour.  Then it passed, but we had to fight wicked cross winds and currents.  The winds were gusting upto 19 mph!  My adrenaline was pumping and I had to dig deep on my hefty 10 &#8216;6&#8243; stockboard.&#8221;  Alicia completed the 3 mile course at Spa Beach in St. Petersburg, FL, in 56:48 for a <a href="http://paddleaddict.org/3-Mile-Race-Race_files/sheet001.htm">30th overall finish out of men and women, which includes both stockboard and racerboard categories combined.</a><br />

<p>On April 5, 2012, Alicia reached the monumental mark of setting <strong>100</strong> World Records <em>ALL in exercise events</em> <strong>except for two of the world records,</strong> which are in most different sports by Elite Athlete including&#8230;<br />

<p>Starting on February 21, 2008, <a href="http://www.aliciaweber.com/2012/04/04/what-is-world-record-for-most-consecutive-bar-dips/">Alicia set her first world record in most consecutive bar dips in 5 minutes</a>, which she considers her toughest record, which also took the longest for her to break (she finally broke her 1st world record on the Eve of her 100th WR on April 4th, 2012).</p>
<p>Alicia is known for setting and re-setting her own world records.  She was a lone Record Breaker in uncharted territory with Book of Alternative Records where <a href="http://www.aliciaweber.com/2010/11/19/records/">she set 60 world records for women&#8217;s exercise events from 2008 -2011.</a>  In 2008, <a href="http://www.recordholders.org/en/list/chinups.html">Alicia became the World&#8217;s First Woman to set endurance pull-up and chin-up world records (and then she kept re-setting ALL these records).</a>  She didn&#8217;t stop there, and in 2009 she set <a href="http://www.recordholders.org/en/list/pushups.html">pushup world records</a>, which eventually landed her in the <a href="http://www.facebook.com/TheOfficialPushUpHallOfFame">Official Pushup Hall of Fame </a>and the only woman to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012 <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soJIY-J5ieg&#038;feature=plcp&#038;context=C498db0dVDvjVQa1PpcFPxEwxqNPJjaLTgNk0u3NQ9tiVN0fsJtyA=">where she gave special interview.</a>  Alicia keeps improving and expanding her physical fitness record base and in 2012 she got noticed and was selected to be <a href="http://ashotofadrenaline.net/the-battle-of-the-mind">one of 25 extreme athletes to reveal secrets on how to stay tough in tough exercises.</a>  Alicia stepped up her game in 2012 when she joined Recordsetter.com, where she is able to compete co-ed in unrestricted exercise categories.  RecordSetter is world&#8217;s fastest growing world record book and competition is co-ed.  Alicia has already broken a handful of men&#8217;s world records in strength and endurance at Record Setter.</p>

One fan that has been following Alicia&#8217;s record setting, since the start exclaims, &#8220;Now, that Alicia is at <a href="http://www.recordsetter.com">RecordSetter.com</a> it has been very exciting to watch her dueling the men in the disciplines they are more into like plyometrics and short raw strength records. In all my years of track coaching, I never got an athlete that much faster it such a short amount of time&#8230;and to top it off, this athlete is just coming off of a Leg Rehab!  The other senior athlete is smoking the field in Dog Shows with her saluki Angel and they enter the Winner&#8217;s Circle of Elite Dog Shows as a team of one of the oldest dog show Owner/Handlers in Nation.</strong></div>

<div><strong>Roxanne, a long time triathlete wished to try to run before her 1 yr anniversary of her leg rehabilitation.  She stopped competing after the rehab and the itch to compete is back.  She attacked a Florida 5k on December 17, 2011, unsure of the results and if she really could run the entire event. </strong></div>
<div><strong>Roxanne said, &#8220;At starting line, I was nervous and not sure what my body could do.  I was shocked as I finished and <em>ran the whole time</em>!  I pulled through with Alicia&#8217;s training in a time of 1:01:54.&#8221;</strong></div>

<div><strong>The Determined Roxann set bigger goals.  On Feb 25, 2012, Roxann improved her time by nearly 3 minutes in her 1st race now after her 1 yr anniversary from a leg rehabilitation as she ran a Groveland, Fl 5k in 58:55.</strong></div>
<div><strong>Roxann said after that race, &#8220;The race seemed shorter and easier. I was a lot more confident and more at ease at the starting line and I remembered all the pointers Alicia gave me.&#8221;</strong></div>
<div><strong>Roxann is now looking ahead to her first triathlon season, since having a leg rehab and is excited about the prospects.  I ask Alicia, the <a href="http://www.aliciaweber.com/success-stories/" target="_blank">Top Orlando Coach</a>, what her thoughts are about Roxann&#8217;s improvements. </strong></div>
<div><strong>Alicia said, &#8220;I support Roxann&#8217;s goals and I am positive about her continued success. I see her confidence, strength, and endurance constantly improving and it is a joy to work with her and get her to her goals and beyond!&#8221; </strong></div>
<div><strong>Alicia has also guided a top senior owner/handler in Dog Shows to top running performance with her winning show dog!  These Dog Shows are about Dashing with the Hounds and being critiqued on everything from gracefulness in your run with your dog and overall appearance.  Cherie and her dog Angel, have been in the Winner&#8217;s Circle.</strong></div>
<div><strong>Alicia trained Cherie in running to prepare her to win AKC Championship with her Saluki Angel.  On December 16, 2011, at the Saluki Specialty Central Florida Kennel Club, Cherie and Angel earned The AKC Championship,which allows them to compete in the Special with other Champion dogs.</strong></div>

<div><strong>After winning this title Cherie exclaimed, &#8220;It was a very big goal and roar from the crowd when the judge pointed to Angel and I &#8211; It was a joy to know I did this in my Golden Years and with Alicia&#8217;s help I can continue showing with the highest level of competition.&#8221;</strong></div>
<div><strong>In Feb, 2012, Cherie and Angel competed in their first Special with other Champions where Angel won &#8220;Best of Opposite Sex&#8221; at Lakeland-Winter Haven Kennel Club. This was Angel&#8217;s first time competing with other champions!</strong></div>
<div><strong>Cherie exclaimed after this victory, &#8220;For her first time and how young she is &#8211; Angel is the youngest champion in that ring and winning.  It will be a real challenge now competing in Best of Breed and trying to get into the Hound Group because the groups are so dominated by professional handlers.  Owner/handlers like me are in a minority in the groups.&#8221;</strong></div>
<div><strong>I ask Alicia how she feels training a champion show dog owner/handler as this is Alicia&#8217;s first experience training one.  Alicia replied, &#8220;Cherie is so fun to work with and she has a great attitude and I knew I had the abilities to get her on her winning way.  I am ready for new challenges and I am enjoying this challenge of training an owner/handler.&#8221;</strong></div>
<div><strong>And in fact, Alicia is UP for <em>some more challenges</em> as she now prepares these 2 senior athletes to set their first world records!  These 2 senior athletes will be participating in <a href="http://www.worldrecordday.com/" target="_blank">Worldwide World Record Day on April 18th, 2012,</a> under Alicia&#8217;s tutelage  as they attempt tough and inspiring records. </strong></div>

<p>On March 18, 2012, after a long day of working, Alicia&#8217;s endurance kicked in and out popped 3 new <a href="http://www.recordsetter.com/pull-up-world-records" target="_blank">Record Setter Pull-Up World Records </a>completed in just 22 minutes!  Alicia started her world record rampage at 5:28pm, where she broke the world record for the <a href="http://recordsetter.com/world-record/half-reps-towel-pull-ups/14205" target="_blank">most consecutive half-rep towel pull-ups</a> by competing 41 reps.  The former record of 29 was held by <a href="http://recordsetter.com/user/DerrickClark" target="_blank">Derrick Clark  - a Record Setter Exercise Innovator that holds a variety of tough, but very creative exercise records.</a></p>
<p>Next, Alicia attacked a new type of pull up world record at 5:42pm a spin off on the last record only this time it is for<a href="http://recordsetter.com/world-record/full-rep-towel-pull-ups/14274" target="_blank"> most consecutive full-rep towel pull-ups</a> and she completed 35 reps.</p>
<p>Finally, rolling out her final world record of the day at 5:49pm, Alicia broke the world record for <a href="http://recordsetter.com/world-record/push-up-pull-up-combos-minute/14207" target="_blank">most pushup/pullup combos in 1 minute </a>by completing 14 combos.  The former record was 10 combos held by <a href="http://recordsetter.com/user/AlexCunningham" target="_blank">Record Setter&#8217;s 6th most prolific world record holder Alex Cunningham.</a></p>

<p>On February 21, 2008, Alicia Weber set the World Record for the Most Consecutive Bar Dips in 5 Minutes where she did 75 dips (published in Book of Alternative Records).  This was Alicia&#8217;s first world record.</p>
<p>Alicia Weber who has set 100 world records in exercise events (# includes records where she re-set records in events upto 4 times) from Feb 21, 2008 -- April 5, 2012, still considers her consecutive dip record as her toughest record.  In this time frame, Alicia set world records in 65 different exercise categories.</p>
<p>Even with all the world records set and re-set, the 5 Minute Consecutive Bar Dip still stands as her toughest record as it tests speed, strength, and endurance on a very small muscle group (triceps:  medial head of tricep, lateral head, and long head of the tricep).  Proper form for a dip:  must use only steel bars.  Arms must break 90 degrees and return to full extension for a rep.  Body must remain vertical and free hanging the entire time.  Now, on April 4th, 2012, Alicia <em>finally</em> broke her 1st world record by completing 85 consecutive dips in 5 mins!</p>

<p>The Godfather of Fitness, Jack Lalanne at the age of 45 completed 1,000 pushups and 1,000 chinups for the fastest time in 82 minutes.  This feat was accomplished in 1959 where his show <em>The Jack Lalanne Show</em> went nationwide.</p>
<p>Alicia Weber, a multiple pull-up, chin-up, and pushup world record holder considers this feat as her favorite feat that Jack Lalanne performed.  According to Wiki, Jack considered this to be his most difficult stunt only because the skin on his hands started ripping off during the chin ups.</p>
<p>Alicia Weber has been building up to the 1000/1000 and found the same difficulty that Jack had with the skin ripping off during the chin ups.</p>
<p>Alicia has been working on the 500 chin up and 500 pushup (Jack Lalanne Mini Challenge).  She first performed it on Jan 31, 2012, in 54:14, and sixty days later she knocked ~ 5 minutes off her time to set an official world record in 49:40 on Record Setter for <a href="http://recordsetter.com/world-record/complete-500-chin-ups-500-push-ups/14614">Fastest Time to Complete 500 Chin ups and 500 Pushups</a>.</p>

<p>I believe squats are the best overall leg strength building exercise for the legs.  There are many types of squats, but today I briefly discuss balance squats and deep squats.  Reap the rewards from squatting and one can get strength gains that correlate to better running, bicycling, and even stand up paddle boarding.</p>
<p>On March 29, 2012, I set the world record (for the 3rd time) for <a href="http://recordsetter.com/world-record/deep-squats-three-minutes/14554">Most Deep Squats in 3 Minutes</a> when I did 167 deep squats in three minutes.  The magic &#8220;three minutes&#8221; I do because that isn&#8217;t too long and not too short to hold at a very high aerobic threshold and still test my endurance (It&#8217;s like the 800m run, which is in between a sprint and middle distance event).  Deep squat training is responsible for increasing my power on my bike and it gave me the edge to be only triathlete that kept increasing speed over duration of challenging bike leg in my <a href="http://www.aliciaweber.com/2011/05/24/alicia-weber-all-around-athlete-reveals-sport-victories-and-world-records/">2008 ITU Sprint U-30 National Championship Triathlon</a>. Deep squats also help my endurance to compete in <a href="http://www.aliciaweber.com/2011/05/24/alicia-weber-all-around-athlete-reveals-sport-victories-and-world-records/">mountain running championships</a>.</p>
<p>Just minutes after re-setting the deep squat world record on March 29, 2012, I then set the world record for the <a href="http://recordsetter.com/world-record/swiss-ball-squats-minute/14548">Most Swiss Ball Squats in One Minute</a>, which are very difficult as they test balance.  These are a relatively new exercise for me as I did my 1st try at swiss ball squats on Jan 15, 2011, and I was certainly NOT doing them in my usual strict form as you will <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-OYmtgQo10">see HERE. </a> However, through perserverance I mastered the swiss ball!  Swiss Ball Squatting has helped me become better at <a href="http://www.aliciaweber.com/2011/05/24/alicia-weber-all-around-athlete-reveals-sport-victories-and-world-records/">Stand Up Paddle Boarding</a> where balance is key.</p>

<p>When most people hear &#8220;one arm exercise&#8221; the first things that come to mind are usually one arm pushups or one arm chinups/pullups.  Well, did you know there is an one-arm plank and one-armed leaping mountain climber?  These are extreme endurance exercises that test and strengthen abdominals and hip flexor muscle groups, but also work the neuromuscular system and with the one-armed leaping mountain climber one also tests plyometrics, leg strengthening, and bone building!  Quite a lot packed into two unique one arm exercises!!</p>
