The field of elite male archery fitness competitors st the 2015 Ready Aim Grow Championship! Champions come in all shapes, sizes, and ages. In this championship, the youngest and smallest competitor, Matteo, won!!
Summer has now come to a close. Youths 6-18 are now anticipating excitement in the NEW self defense archery fall season beginning soon. The program is going on six years strong with different themes each year as many teams and individuals have been crowned champions! Learn more about the sport league history here.

The World’s Most Prolific Female Record Setter and Coach of the Sport League, Alicia Weber, had a busy summer preparing the new curriculum and of course setting records and completing fitness challenges. Here is a look at some of Alicia’s Golden Moments of Summer 2018 where the hot 90+ degree sun was out as her guns were out!

#1. Over Labor Day Weekend 2018, Alicia completed a very challenging, tough, continuous exercise routine per a request of a long-time fan. She completed 31 minutes of consecutive exercises to the song “Bring Sally Up” AKA “Green Sally Up”…See Below.

#2. Ring Challenge at DEFY Orlando. Alicia celebrated the end of summer as she tested the rings and other equipment for the first time at the newly opened DEFY Orlando on August 11.

#3. Alicia re-set the 3 minute consecutive push-up world record for the 6th time this summer with 171 reps.

#4. Alicia re-set the consecutive one minute 180 degree windshield wiper world record and did nearly 1 rep a second in June!

#5. Alicia re-set the highly-aerobic and physically challenging Bar Runner Exercise World Record and brought the record to 254 reps back in June.

#6. Alicia performed special strength feat Memorial Day show as youths asked her questions about fitness.

Central Florida Teams Complete Global Running Events

Team Awinningway and Team Sundance combined efforts to promote health, wellness, and running in Clermont, Florida, to celebrate Global Running Day 2017 with a record twenty-nine total participants.

Within the 7 days leading up to Global Running Day (June 7), there was an indoor mile, outdoor cross country mile, an outdoor 800 meter cross country event, and a challenging outdoor 800 meter cross country event with ages 2 and up completing the distances in flying colors!

Many dedicated fitness enthusiasts came out to represent wellness in this Global Running Event Series including a top local cop, a local chef, many youth athletes from around Central Florida, a two-time Archery Fitness Champion from Alicia Weber’s Archery, Fitness, Sport League, and the reigning youth event mile record holder.

The participants could walk or run and there was no pressure.

“We are here to run fast,” stated Austin and Cody as they stood on the start line anxious to bolt.

Both youth boys were victorious. The reigning youth champion, Cody age 7, captured another win in the cross country mile with his time of 7:42 (his course record is 7:18), while Austin (age 8) won the 800 meter cross country in a record time of 3:10. Cody took second place in the 800 meter with 3:54. They raced on the faster and less challenging cross country course.

Two other youth girls competed in the most challenging 800 meter cross country event where they ran half the run on an incline. They finished in 4:29 and 4:49 respectively.

Indaya, the only female two time archery fitness champion in Alicia Weber’s Archery, Fitness, Sport League, was excited to participate in the one mile cross country event.

“I want to try my best and see what kind of time I can run,”added Indaya. She was the first place female in 11:10 for the mile.

Twenty-one participants ran or walked in the indoor mile requiring them to go around the Sundance gym 28 times. The winner was a youth boy from Team Sundance who finished in 11:27 and many others followed in under 12 minutes.

Elite athlete and Coach Alicia Weber also competed and ran a 2:26 on the less challenging 800 meter cross country course. She then ran the cross country mile in 5:29 (11 seconds off her record time from last year). Weber holds regular running and conditioning programs and can be reached at Awinningway@gmail.com
