World Record Holder’s Fun Mind and Body Training with a Free Video Game

There is no excuse to be a dumb Jock anymore when you have the free solitaire.org video games for fun, intellectual stimulation, and learning – over 100 of them!!

Researchers see educational and learning potential in a multitude of video games. I will share my favorite games from Solitaire.org and the results and benefits I exhibited from them. I will add that I do need to concentrate a lot with these games, so I like to add only a simple isometric exercise like the wall sit or just sitting on a Balance Ball for my Body and Mind Combo Training.

Intro to Solitaire.org Mind and Body Training and My Results!!

DAILY WORD SEARCH: I enjoy the daily word search game where a word search is different each day. You can do the current day or go back and do a previous day. My best so far has been 12:02. Interestingly, I was never a big fan of word searches till this game. At first I felt overwhelmed and thought I would be too slow. I quickly developed a strategy to pick up the pace – finding all the “letters” for the first letter of a word. Then, I could sift through and find words faster. I found longer words more easily than three letter words. I find a great sense of self esteem to just complete these games in a timely fashion.

ZUMA BALL: My all time favorite game on any video game website involves bubble shooting. On this site, my favorite is Zuma Ball. I feel like there is logical thinking and strategy that needs to be made in order to be successful and move up the levels. I also know reaction time and hand-eye-coordination plays a part in your success in this game. There are similar shades of yellow and red balls, which can come quickly and you need to match them in 3 to remove them. You need to stay focused to match the right shade of color. I feel I get into a zone as I move up the levels and my concentration increases. I block out any distractions and I think fast, but I need to react even faster. Right now, my best result after a few days of practice has been reaching level 8 out of 10 levels.

DAILY 15UP: I never played a math video game before till I played Daily 15UP logic puzzle. At first, it seemed quite difficult and it took me 8 minutes to complete my first game. The math is easy, but there is logical thinking and a process to add up the math to make 12 addition problems. I kept getting stuck finding #12. After a few attempts, I got a lot faster and figured out the logic. My best time to complete the game is now 1 minute and 30 seconds. Just like with anything – practice makes performance.

PALACE HOTEL HIDDEN OBJECTS GAME: I found the Palace Hotel Hidden Objects game to be unique and exhilarating. I was so excited to get through all 10 levels on my first try at the game! It reminded me of my self defense course where I teach people to be aware of their surroundings and pay attention to details. I felt like a detective sent out on a hunt for missing objects and I had to find everything as fast as possible. I can see where this game improves memory recall and reaction time.

LETTER SCRAMBLE: The letter scramble video game was a great mental challenge with only 3 levels. I was happy to make it to level 2 of 3 on my first attempt. It tests your vocabulary, speed reading ability, reaction time, cognitive function, critical thinking, and memory recall. Different letters get shuffled around and you need to remember where a letter was placed to keep coming up with words quickly. Think of words with the letters you see and then spell them out. The game increases speed at each level.

Play a Video Game Vs World Record Weber!

Learn About an Enormous Collection of FREE video Games and challenge yourself against World Record Weber!

World Record Weber (WRW) will share her TOP 8 favorite video games at Plays.org and challenge readers to beat her scores. WRW chooses Plays.org for FREE videos games because you can play directly in your web browser with no app or downloads! PLUS, they have the largest collection she has ever seen with hundreds of games covering over 180 categories!!

Just like WRW sets goals with her physical fitness, she has set goals (high scores) with her favorite games. NOTE: She is an amateur and not an avid game player. Below our her favorite TOP 8 Games with results (the results below are from playing the game the normal way and not adding an exercise or holding a plank with it)! lol

1.) Her All Time Favorite Game is Defend the Sewers! She loves action-packed games with shooting bubbles and this bubble game takes the cake in her book! It has new landscape and challenges at each level. She first played and earned a high score of 8,000. Shockingly, without too much practice, she was able to complete all the levels and she saved the creek! The good thing about this game is that it remembers where you left off and you will resume there, when you start again.

2.) Her Second favorite game is a batman car game (Gotham City Speed). It is a driving and flying LEGO game. She enjoys the adrenaline rush and she set the goal of reaching 10,000, but that has not happened yet. Her highest score has been 8,197. The first time she ever played the game, she scored 1,896.

WRW’s highest score!

3.) Another game that WRW found to be interesting is the Space Adventure Virtual Pinball game. She only played a few times and her best score is 8,920. It is a cool game because the pinball bounces and you just tap the screen left or right to direct it. It feels real and that is why she prefers this game to other pinball virtual games. This would be her favorite pinball game for sure.

4.) Neon Invaders is another game that peaks her interest! It is a shooting game where you try to take down the invaders before they take you out! It is an easy to follow game .

WRW’s highest score!

5.) Although it is slow paced, WRW thought the Nickelodeon Ultimate Mini Golf was creative. In her first time to play, she was surprised to get a double eagle on her third hole! She is not a big golf fan. She did take one golf lesson before and played mini golf only a few times.

6.) Cannons and Soldiers is an interesting cannon shooting game where you shoot and figure out how much force and distance is needed to knock down the enemy (without knocking down your soldiers). Her highest score is 5, 581. The fun thing about this game is that there are 13 levels and you pick to play any of them (you don’t go in the typical order where you “earn your way” up to next level).

7.) Being an archery coach, WRW would have to pick an archery game as one of her favorites. Bow and Angle is very unique, since it uses geometry to shoot at an enemy and it also uses geometry to escape a shot from the enemy archer. She has never seen another archery game like this one! This one does not seem to keep score the way the others do. It is more about passing into the next level.

8.) Last but not least, a WRW favorite is not a “normal game”…it is a Virtual Xylophone instrument. It is nice to kick back and relax and strum out some tunes without having to go buy a musical instrument. You can make beats with this virtual instrument! There is no scoring on this one!

This is just a VERY SMALL sample of the games at plays.org **If you are a school student looking to improve – check out the following games:
1.) improving math
2.) increasing typing speed
3.) geography
4.) spelling
5.) science
6.) physics
7.) alphabet
8.) word

Have Fun, Learn, and Enjoy!!
